Painting and collage work in 40x60 format, of which I am making a book. "History" (40x30) is the history of my paintings, so that later I can browse back in the retirement home without the ballast of all the canvases. There will be plenty of darlings to kill, but these can go along.

Netflix in the cave
2024The composition evokes associations with Plato's allegory of the cave, in which people see only shadows of the real world. Here, the opposite seems to be happening: the being in the light may be the only one aware of its situation, while the masses live in the dark – safe in their collective illusion.
