My working method is not limited by any particular material or technique. On the contrary, I enjoy experimenting with whatever comes into my hands. My choice of material is often spontaneous and depends on the idea that is waiting to take shape.

People are my greatest source of inspiration. Not perfect people, but people in all their forms, with their peculiarities, habits and stories. This fascination finds expression in a wide variety of work, bringing together recognition, humour and a sense of wonder. Portraiture holds a particularly important place within my work. In faces and gestures, I continually discover new stories that call for interpretation.
